Two ISP's

i have suddenlink coax cable modem connected new airport extreme. have been using suddenlink 20 years.

next week at&t coming out install digital service home telephone , plan includes internet service , modem provide.

save me $65/month, if discontinue suddenlink internet service, don't trust at&t internet service yet. there way keep both suddenlink modem , new at&t modem connected , switch between 2 until gain confidence, maybe terminate suddenlink subscription?

suddenlink getting 50 mbps download , 5 mbps upload (verified).

at&t "claims" 50 mpbs download , 10 mbps upload - possible through phone jack?

at&t says service have "direct" connection at&t gives me more reliable , consistent data speed whereas suddenlink on shared neighborhood connection varies load - sound right?

sounds easy enough. hook 2 modems. attach 1 of them airport extreme. when want try other one, switch ethernet cable that's connected ap.
