so in market new computer macbook air suffered sad demise taking bath (literally). looking can light video editing of drone video go pro hero 5 footage.

in store sells , repairs apple devices, premiere or (whatever apple calls it) place have more knowledge assume of other stores repairs. after figured out current macbook air brick, no real surprise, looking @ new macbook pro both , without touch bar adequate need, maybe overkill.

went on ipad pro models , asked him if editing video possible on ipad. response surprised me , said a10 fusion chip faster , process video faster macbook pro looking @ (3.1 ghz 256k memory touch bar) , said should more adequate need.

ios 11 seems apple blurring lines between laptop , ipad far capability , think ipad laptop replacement in regards.

have experience video editing on ipad pro? how , limitations compared macbook pro? understand cant final cut on ipad pro doing final cut may overkill unless more serious videos making.

cost savings significant factor considering well.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
