Help me decide which 15" MBP to get


hi desperately need buy new macbook pro , looking figuring out one!

not main computer need imac since travel weeks @ time.

main programs use , need lot of power photoshop, indesign, , aperture (which i'll have switch lightroom now). work tons of large high-res photos , graphics. not video some.

storage solution 1tb dropbox account, of i've filled 1/3 of space. though have on selective sync, when syncs want kill myself! it's painfully slow.

i'm trying decide between these 2 mbp configurations:

1. 2017 mbp 2.8ghz + upgraded 4gb graphics + upgraded 500gb or 1tb storage

2. 2017 mbp 2.9ghz + upgraded 500gb or 1tb storage

or not upgrade storage @ , use 2tb external hard drive... ?? i'm kind of resistant external hard drives since worry i'd lose or damage it... whereas stuff seems more secure in cloud. if best choice needs guess i'm open that.

thoughts appreciated!!!
 

option number 2 job exceptionally if you're trying save money. if money not issue upgraded graphics card give slight boost. slight because programs running not taxing amd gpu @ 100% speed increase negligible. advice go option offers storage @ best rate.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
