how to retrieve deleted safari history?

i trying figure out way discover if history still exists somewhere on computer of websites visited (from specific day 3 months ago). on macbook pro, operating system sierra, , not using time machine or other backup far know. far, haven't tried other opening finder, going "go folder" under "go" finder menu bar, , searching "~/library/safari". possible use type of software (like http://sqlitebrowser.org), see if can read/translate of files in there (like history.db), , maybe show ip addresses of websites visiting day on safari @ least?
make sense @ all? or there easier way of retrieving deleted web surfing history specific day/time? thanks.

it deleted no backup? i'm going assume not. if figure out history lives normally, attempt data recovery on hard drive.
