Photos app - close without quitting?


the photos app seems app use regularly (other preview) quit entirely when closing main window. normal behaviour in macos when closing window app continue running in background, , i'm finding when close photos app forget quits app instead of closing (the behaviour have every other app use) , can frustrating @ times, when i'm waiting complete large library update or upload (closing window quits app, therefore cancelling update).

best remember hide app (cmd+h) forget. there way change photos' behaviour when clicking red close button / closing main window?

if want photos "stay alive in background", have "hide" it.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
