so got iphone 8 , buy qi charging pad desk @ work. i’m not wild shelling out $60 i’ve been looking on amazon. anker 1 people have been recommending here appears no longer available amazon anymore looking @ this one ravpower. it’s $15 doesn’t come wall plug i’d need buy one. think i need qc 3.0 wall adaptor faster charging speed whenever apple enables feature software update later year. found this one anker looks good. total cost 2 of them $31, half price pay apple.
notice ravpower selling this other charger “for iphone 8/x” comes adaptor , $50. that’s getting pretty close price of apple-endorsed chargers (and i’d rather pay $10 buy 1 apple @ point). have few questions:
- is there reason pick “for iphone” charger on more generic $15 charger? i’m trying figure out if ram imacs there “imac certified” version same ram costs more because has been “tested on imac” , know apple buyers pay premium. if there no difference between generic , “for iphone”, i’d take generic.
- if pick generic charger, able charge @ full 7.5w after software update later year? know pad fast charge 10w. but, able deliver lower 7.5w iphone? or power draw controlled phone? i’m trying figure out if pad 5w slow/10w fast , nothing in between or if continuous range of deliverable power. not sure how technology works , if it’s pad or phone controls rate of power delivery.
- are there other qi pads recommend might not have looked at?
thanks in advance!
i bought 3 wireless chargers on amazon. each $15-20. returned 3 because didn't work. price indicator of quality seems.
