iphone + photos


i admit, 1 of people deleted photos. phone has photos last 5 years.

well, earlier week, ran out of space. so, backed things locally on computer, icloud , google well. , when went delete photo on phone, said if delete it, gone icloud too. confused me...i not want delete icloud copy...but want remove photo phone.

right now, phone has "optimize" selected, not download , keep originals. icloud sharing , photo stream off.

googled, ones read made sound hard or impossible, seems odd me. hoping here can lend assistance.

with "optimize" selected, phone should storing low-res versions of photos, in order reclaim storage space. if phone still full, because have many movies, songs, etc.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
