What does "Cleaning..." under an app on the home screen mean?


i noticed today, , have never seen before.

noticed on google voice, on home screen. (on ios 11, obviously.) if i'm remembering right, name of program replaced text "cleaning..." , program grayed out, how looks when it's being updated.

know means? guess kind of maintenance task ios doing, , either i've never seen before, or ios never used it, or ios 11 bothers tell it's happening.

good/cool thing, i'm curious technical stuff :)
 

it’s , bad thing. in experience, “cleaning” text occur when device requires additional free space. when storage gets low, , user tries download app, ios clear app’s local cache clear free space.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
