Truly lock down ATV


so last week has been nightmare me, , i've been searching answer , not found one. here am. purchased apple tv (4th gen) few months ago, , has been fine. live in large multi-tenant facility (on fifth floor), have joy of being able see on 200 wifi networks alone unit (yeah, luck finding working channel, i've literally moved ethernet could, chance new 4k apple tv has gigabit ethernet port???).

however, last few weeks has been crazy. apple tv plugged via hdmi samsung 4k tv. when click button on remote, apple tv comes on , turn on tv. that's awesome, that's problem comes in.

repeatedly on past few weeks, keep getting pop-up on tv code attempting connect apple tv. they're not on wireless (i have logs, i'd know if got on isn't supposed be), it's working on bluetooth or (not sure how airplay works without wifi). while it's annoying while i'm watching show, real annoyance people doing in middle of night. tv located in living room, in middle of night, wake up, tv turn on, , code pop up. 15-30 minutes later, apple tv shuts off, , tv switches ota , wakes me tv show or static blaring out speakers.

i've tried multiple ways lock down, can't seem find 1 allow on wifi, , keep pesky jerks waking me in middle of night.

unplug when go bed? can't stop ******s trying hack system while on, fool-proof way. alternatively, trust apple's security , unplug tv doesn't wake when tries hack atv.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
