System won't update to newset OS


guys i'm stumped on how update system. know sounds noob question, i'll download update , system won't install update , i'm quite lost on how force system revert newest os. system isn't old i'm not sure of model number it's 27inch nvidia 750m gt , i'm 3-4 os behind.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
