Buying a sim-free iPhone from Apple...do I have to activate Verizon?


my company owns verizon account , pays monthly service. employees allowed buy own devices. if wanted upgrade 8, simple as:
  • buy sim-free unlocked iphone 8 apple store
  • take verizon sim out of current iphone
  • install verizon sim new sim-free iphone 8
  • profit???
is there it? or have have (verizon or employee @ company) "activation"?

last question. if down road got phone wanted hand 1 down family member on at&t, phone work fine on at&t? there downsides or limited functionality?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
