i bought ipad pro 9.7 yesterday replace air 2. i've typed on air 2, since pro touted game changing replacement macbook i've considered buying external keyboard , ditching macbook. thing is, i've been using macbooks since came out , i'm @ typing on them. horribly slow on air 2 in comparison.
have no experience latest chicklet keys (12" macbook style, latest mbp). experience previous apple keyboards poly models 2015 mbp use most.
requirement ditching mb , using pro exclusively down keyboard. can tolerate slight decrease in speed, has feel same since 14 years typing experience on mb's. looked @ apple keyboard , doesn't resemble used to. looked @ logitech create based on users saying more comfortable apple keyboard , seems more familiar. seems more clicky. guess when logitech , apple partnered on project logitech took notes.
doubt ever able type on ipad based on experience air 2. seem "think" i'm hitting right, mistakes many , spend time correcting them. leaves option of external keyboards.
people used typing on style of macbooks have described, please rate experience in feel of apple keyboard or logitech. i'll gladly accept other options of course, these 2 seem best based on popular review. must resemble mb keyboard on mb's 2015 or below closely possible or won't me good. know comfort zone is. side question: how's size compared mb keyboard?
if else fails in quest end regular apple bluetooth keyboard have used years on imacs, integration , travel purposes i'd prefer not to.
no amount of personal reviews going though. loved it, hated it. love due convenience, being water proof , not needing charge etc, love texture of it. tbh can type on keyboard people prefer specific style. can't definite answer until try 1 yourself. either go apple store , try 1 or buy 1 , return if don't or can't adjust it.
