last week reported apple had emailed itunes affiliate program members inform them commission rate apps , in-app content reduced 2.5 percent on may 1, down 7 percent, globally.

if affiliate team's information accurate, change in commissions not apply individual app purchases, apple stated.
macgamerhq notes several affected site owners , bloggers still seeing 7 percent commissions come through itunes affiliate links, despite fact changes meant come effect on monday. we'll make sure update post if/when apple clarifies situation.
update 5/8: apple has confirmed in note on affiliate resources website commission rate change applies in-app purchases (2.5 percent, down 7 percent). other rates remain unchanged.
