Owners opinion : 4K monitor with MBP


hello,

have mbp 13" 2016 , 4k monitor : lg 27ud88. there 1 issue 4k monitor , mbp : if want best performance must set 1080p or 4k only... because between ui not smooth , youtube video in full screen overload cpu/gpu (= heat + fan @ 80%).

problem : 1080p big , don't have workspace whereas 4k small , u can't read text.

need 2 monitors work i'm looking solution. budget 1000€ can't afford 2x ultrafine 5k , set them in 1440p. (also big bezel looks pretty bad).

see no 1 talking issue, supposed set 4k monitor in 1080p scaling ?
 

have tried ultrafine 4k?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
