Cannot turn off WiFi on Airport Express


hello. want use airport express airplay no wifi. when go utility , try turn off wifi error (see below). there way correct this? airplay audio choppy when mac in same room express. quite annoying. yamaha receiver has airplay built in gets choppy airport extreme 3 rooms away in living room. looks we're not "advanced" think are.
