iMac G4 1.25 ghz

regarding thermal pad beneath logic board, there one. replacement takes minutes once logic board has been removed. see following photos:

general view logic board removed. thermal pad black (with white bluetooth connector lying on top).

below: detail of thermal pad. unused blutooth connector had been misrouted during previous assembly , compressed pad.

below: thermal pad prior removal. replaced similar 1mm pad material (blue) purchased via amazon.

original pad measured , found approx 0.8mm, allowing compression during previous use, figured 1.0mm thickness suitable pad thickness new replacement. keen re-assemble imac didn't think take photo of new pad following change.
worked fine result, (as did before started), general refurb , internal cleaning - these g4 imacs need time time if in use regularly.

let me know if have doubts on exact location thermal paste (same on models refer to, different on earlier imac g4's). have photos if required.
