i'm doing design, , once i'm done, i'd see if suit 8bit style graphics treatment, don't want spend ages redrawing find doesn't work.

there free apps or sites out there can throw in image , it'll add 8bit style filter?

wouldn't have produce finished item, see if way look.

pixelmator has pixelate filter.

quick hack resize image small , resize original size, using nearest neighbour resizing method. might have try few sizes.
