2011 iMac can't see beatsx headphones


they pair fine iphone , ipad , instructions icloud should mean mac can see them automatically can't. i've tried manually holding button down on headphones see if makes them appear, , turned bluetooth off , on on mac no dice.

bluetooth works though on mac, paired keyboard fine , i've used send files nokia phone , can see tv on list too.
 

pairing via icloud works bluetooth low energy devices. if don't upgrade internal bt/wifi card in mac, don't have required hardware.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
