Is macbook air MMGF2HN/A powerful enough for logic pro x?

i going learn music production , vocal editing after days. did research , find out logic pro x best daw mac exclusive , own windows pc. have budget buying mac air 2015 has 8gb ram, i5 5th gen , 128gb ssd (i buy usb 3.0 hdd 1 or maybe 2tb because 128gb not enough.
tell me if buying mbp 2012 better buying mac air or not? have read somewhere can upgrade mbp 2012's ram 4gb 16gb, run better 16gb ram?
please me out , answer questions.

p.s- please forgive me bad grammer , try answer in simple , short total noob mac , logic. have day , thank in advance.

the macbook air great @ running logic. logic easy run, , limit size of projects want run. have 2015 11" can projects 40 or 50 tracks lots of plugins. editing , playing audio kind of easy task computers now. 8gb of ram have, extremely large projects need more (huge orchestrations , 100s of tracks).

maybe getting 256gb, because 128 drive pretty small full logic install. can move stuff external drive, it's technical move files , have logic see them. tried , wasn't worth it.

in ways mba might best because doesn't need run fancy graphics of retina mac.

13" mbp won't better, because both computers dual core. if need more power need go 15" mbp or imac.
