here's fallout (or spinoff) brexit quite predictable: drastic upswing in british applications irish passports way of retaining eu rights , privileges.

the number of british people applying irish passports has risen more 2 thirds, indicating continuing surge in britons seeking become citizens of ireland following brexit vote.

ireland’s foreign ministry received 51,079 passport applications great britain , northern ireland in first quarter of 2017, compared 30,303 during same period last year — rise of 69 per cent. received 250,000 passport applications across world in same quarter.

increase in demand large country's foreign department said hiring staff , has launched online passport renewal service handle number of applications.
of course doesn't mean new passport holders mean emigrate ireland, bump in irish citizenship doesn't translate mass exodus.
otherwise i'd put in application right become british citizen , take someone's empty seat in northern ireland or elsewhere in uk. irish kin came on here long ago me apply citizenship now. way things going trump i'd settle living anywhere across pond days.
