Why is my MacBook so fast lately?


macbook pro 2012 8gb's of ram conventional hd. after install of high sierra been far faster , smoother in operations. why? not complaining have wonder why. because of high sierra, or because of defective hard drive cable? not know if defective. tech tools pro seems report well.
 

possibly new os forcing disk repair of problems.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
