VGA to MacBook Air


i'm totally confused thunderbolt vs thunderbolt mini vs displayport!

have 13" macbook air. have monitor has vga connector. want adapter let vga cable plug macbook's thunderbolt 2 port.

looking for? seems mini displayport or similar.,. same thing?!

so, mini displayport vga need, this...

or, better (in opinion, anyway), a cable plug directly mbair vga display.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
