How do I create a case-insensitive disk?


got new mbp, , upgraded high sierra on first day. formatted apfs (case-sensitive + encrypted). wasn't sure 1 choose, chose one. tried installing adobe cc, can't installed onto case-sensitive volumes. i'm not competent in stuff, excuse lack of knowledge in area.

created new partition on current drive without case sensitivity (still encrypted), , did time machine backup. restored tm new partition, volume has changed case sensitive (not encrypted). happened? did make mistake? why did change?

there better way tackle this?

edit: if had problem, guess can't restore case-insensitive format, case sensitive one. reinstalled high sierra , started fresh. manually moving data again.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
