Lost ability for screen to dim, but stay unlocked while playing music in the car


since upgrading ios 11 phone no longer dim stay unlocked when plugged car stereo. nice feature @ night while driving without needing turn down brightness of screen, or needing change autolock "never".

have clue if there way fix this? i've had change autolock never, i'm not fan of doing.

i'm still curious why apple can't seem have screen autolock options unplugged vs. plugged android has. nice have screen autolock disabled while plugged in , timed autolock unplugged.
