Google Investigating Reports of Screen Burn-In on Pixel 2 XL But iPhone X Unlikely Affected

multiple reports have surfaced on past few days potential screen burn-in or image retention issues google's new pixel 2 xl smartphone.

google hasn't confirmed how many users affected.

google sourced pixel 2 xl's plastic oled display lg, root of problem, given smaller pixel 2 , original pixel's samsung-supplied oled displays have experienced far fewer issues.

apple sourcing oled displays exclusively samsung, if issue stems lg, iphone x shouldn't affected either.

lg's own v30 smartphone has suffered many of same display issues, has included banding , uneven colors.

screen burn-in typically result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on screen uninterrupted prolonged period of time. issue can result in persistent discoloration or "ghosting" effect on screen.

How much is my cMP worth?
