WindowServer taking unholy amount of RAM in 10.13

since upgrading high sierra, i've noted windowserver has become quite ram hog on 15-inch, mid-2014 rmbp.

performance okay, i'm wondering how high go. it's interesting using 13 gb ram, 4 in swap (give 32gb machines already, apple!). it's been running (with migrations between home , work, have 2 displayport monitors) 2 days, 10 hours according 'uptime'.

experiencing same?

attached files:

i am. @ 16h of uptime since last reboot , windowserver @ ~3gb, i've seen going way further in past few days. goes bit every few moments , pretty never frees memory: way revert "normal" memory consumption restarting process, starts climb again shortly after.

machine 15-inch mid 2015 rmbp, no external monitor (i use bigger resolution default, can reproduce issue regular one).
