iPhone X Preorder, iUP, and Switching Carriers


i'm on iup at&t, i'd switch on verizon when iphone x. there way , still able preorder iphone x launch day?

when select verizon carrier, asks account credentials, of have none. if preorder at&t customer, won't cdma-capable unit. doesn't appear sim free models available under iup; @ least they're not iphone 8 atm.

so...how have "freedom switch carriers" apple promises iup?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
