GTX980 3 monitors - weirdness


hey - have weird issue getting 3 monitors work on tower.

have 2 dell p2715q 4k monitors run main monitors, running @ 1440p hidpi each. both plugged in using dp dp cables , have little issue them other occasionaly 1 of them doesn't wake sleep.

problem when decided plugged in old dell u2410 third monitor, run video window in protools, , realestate mixing windows (i mixing tv , web series, home).

plugged in via hdmi>hdmi gtx980(non-flashed). booted right , had great mixing session moving video window third monitor. put tower sleep night , upon trying wake computer, tower's light went on, none of monitors turned on. did hard reset , 2x 27" 4k monitors turned on fine upon bootup, u2410 did not. turned off , unplugged/plugged in power cord. 4k monitors blink detect display turned on, u24's screen says no connection detected. it's strange worked beautifully 1 time, doesn't time after. detects signal monitors flash, u24's screen says no signal detected.

thinking maybe it's issue hdmi, ordered dp>dp cable (the same 1 use 4k monitors), had same issue. worked first time plugged in, computer shut down, detects third display flash, u24 displays no signal again.

i'm stumped why work first time on each new cable, never work again. i've tried different combos of unplugging/plugging in power cord u24 , hdmi/dp cables on monitors end , gtx980s end.

ideas? thanks!

macpro specs: 2010 - 5,1 - (2x)x5690 - 32gb owc ram - gtx 980 sc acx 2.0 - 500gb evo boot - (2x) 840pro 256gb on sonnet ssd raid card, sabrent 4 port usb 3.0 card.
 

i have not 4k monitors, 1x cinema display 23 , 2x lg ips 22, , work perfect

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
