Generally how does this app accompish this ?


i bought nice little app macos called moleculesketch; lets sketch molecular structures. i'm wondering how might code work generally? have kind of premade background (an image maybe?) image of letter 'c' overlaps it? how might work?

want general idea, know guys don't know code there , doubt author willing share.

i can't tell website seems specialized 2d drawing app. if app's documents don't think you'll find simple raster graphics jpg. kind of data structure stores types , positions of molecules, bonds, etc. vector graphics. might use standard version of vector graphics or own kind.

apple has sample drawing app called sketch can download , inspect: https://developer.apple.com/library/content/samplecode/sketch/introduction/intro.html

don't think it's vector drawing app show of ideas of how 2d drawing done.

have free 3d app app store called molecules animates 3d molecules; spinning enzymes , things that. uses opengl, different 2d graphics.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
