Are 9.7 iPads good e readers? how's your experience?


i'm thinking of buying ipad, mini optimal it's size it's becoming obsolete , don't want deal half baked ios updates in future, i'd love ipad lasts long.

plus, larger screen , long battery life tempting, main goal e reading, yes, bigger screen lot better other tasks multi tasking, netflix , gaming.

9.7 inch ipads heavy e reading? should go ipad mini 4 it's older specs?
 

i love ipads , have air 2. (10.5" pro on order.) use but ebooks. backlit screen isn't best reading hours @ time. and, time goes on, full size ipad feels increasingly heavy.

use kindle ebooks. books read on ipad ones lot of photos. then, @ pics on ipad & read book on kindle.

of course, kindle can no other tasks. heck, it's not audio or bluetooth capable. it's superb ebooks. and, has longer battery life ipad - talking days or weeks rather hours.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
