nMP 4K boot screen now working (High Sierra)


good news on 4k boot screen front. cross posting on couple of different threads word out:

on hunch installed developer beta of macos high sierra , updated nmp's boot rom version mp61.0116.b25 mp61.0116.b44. option key drive picker boot screen works on dell p2715q monitor. imagine work on similar dell p2415q. don't know how many times i've had boot blind , inevitably end in recovery partition takes forever boot before give , plug in hdmi cable. plus dell monitor stupidly unresponsive it's buttons during time -- writes code? aggravation gone. whew.

note installed high sierra external drive because have not researched implications of using high sierra early. can install separate partition on main drive if have enough space.
 

nice see continued (abet slow) progress macos on nmp.

still, can't wait next mac pro.... come on apple, take money!

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
