splitdeck 4k hdmi 2.0 splitter sewell
2-port distribution amplifier, 1x2, 4k @ 60hz, hdr, 3d, hdcp 2.2, 4:4:4 chroma

obnoxious guy on chat (logan) says will.

people here, , on avsforum, cheaper hdmi splitters not split hdmi , feed tv full 4k signal.

who's right?

i'm in market type of solution well, , i've given up, due hdmi complexities it's easier buy new receiver every time hdmi upgraded.

think that, splitter, hdmi negotiate video signal down least common denominator between tv , receiver, meaning you'll end seeing 1080p on tv because that's best receiver can do, if tv supports 2160p. page linked talks in context of 1080p v. 720p, saying need downscaler on receiver side of splitter. wouldn't depend upon sort of frankenstein's-monster setup working if @ all. e.g., if come string of boxes somehow works, you'll end having audio/video synchronization issues (audio few milliseconds behind video).

"market solution" of integrated audio, video, , drm in instance resulting in hugely wasteful premature obsolescence. solution within context of hdmi new hdmi standard include arbitrary bitstream audio return channel (arc) instead of 1 limited s/pdif quality audio dvd era--but of course you'd need new tv , receiver support such hypothetical standard.
