IPad Pro for professors/academics instead of PC or Laptop

there professors/academics on forum? use ipad pro instead of pc? how use it? mean, real? apps, etc. can suggest?

i use ipad 12.9 , pencil. find annotate reports , scientific articles. use notability taking notes @ meetings, teaching , brainstorming ideas. use papership has connection mendeley. notes done in papership carried on mendeley desktop. papership has better tools fro annotation mendeley own ios app. need close papership start again in order references sync otherwise good. use readdle pdf expert annotating reports file management better notability. use dropbox , icloud.

lecture via keynote prefer on powerpoint. find quite ok make lectures in keynote on ipad. great advantage ipad is easy carry around class room , compared laptop "inclusive" meaning not need sit beside student instead face face students.

editing scientific manuscripts difficult there no possibility use reference manager. pages delete field codes in word documents meaning information references lost. microsoft office on web better in regard cannot far know insert references or format paper.

pc/mac writing papers , ipad else.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
