High sierra installation failure


i trying update new os x high sierra in mbp, after downloading osx , system started installing it. installation got stuck @ 30% , continued @ same status 1 day. decide shutdown forcibly thats button working tht moment. when restarted couldn't boot system past apple logo (@ black screen). , programme running on screen. , forth between error messages. can me out how earlier sierra mac os x ? or fixing installation ?

is high sierra installer still in applications folder?
(the "full" installer, not "little 15mb" one)

if so, suggest alternative course of action:
1. usb flashdrive 16gb or larger
2. download 1 of following (all free use):
- boot buddy
- install disk creator
- diskmaker x
3. use 1 of above create bootable usb flashdrive installer.
4. boot flashdrive installer, , try again.

note: before attempt create installer, make backup copy of high sierra installer app -somewhere else- ... archive drive, etc.
know idc above delete installer app applications folder after has created bootable flashdrive.
want "archival copy" stored somewhere, don't have download on again!

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
