13 to 15 any advice ?


hi people,

have beloved 2011 mbp thats been holding strong lately seeing lot fan activity, slow downs , such daily driver. planning retire or sell apple discount on new on gets spec bump. .

idea this. love new 15 inch , give try going bit bigger 6 yesr choice of 13 inch.

converted 2011 13 inch 2016 15 inch, advises welcome. how feel ? easy carry , use ?

have tried in various apple stores, think pretty managable compared 2011 used carrying around.

guys think ?
 

people give contradicting advice one, because depends on person. some, 15" still portable faster , more space work on. others, 13" offers better portability.

topic comes around every once in while. here's thing, won't know until try it, sadly. comes down personal taste.

can tell this:

1. 15" mbp still portable, , 2016 mbp portable mbp far. carry 1 in backpack or shoulder bag work , every day.
2. 13" more portable. difference not big on paper, putting in bag, taking out, carrying in hands - easier. don't think you'll notice weight difference in backpack, example, handling easier. both 13" , 15" in portability, 13" better.

- question - care 15" benefits enough sacrifice bit of portability? need bigger screen (yes, can notice difference - me, 15" great size photoshop work) or quad-core cpu? if yes, go - 15" easy carry , use. 13" easier carry , use, , if you're used size - may feel 15" big @ beginning (but you'll used it).

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
