Base Mac Pro Worth $1,600?


i have opportunity purchase brand new base config (quad core / 12gb / 256gb / d300) mac pro $1,600. know it's bit dated , expected replaced @ point. think cool have such unique (and controversial) mac. have base config (quad core / 32gb / 1tb / 5770) 2010 (genuine) mac pro not plan replace. workload not heavy taxing work being handbrake or imovie. 2013 outperform 2010 in every aspect. negative 2013 smaller hd size , lack of internal expansion i'm fine i'll retaining 2010 mac pro.

keep in mind i'm not asking if should or should not buy 2013 mac pro (at or versus else)...i know pros , cons. i'm interested in people's opinions if $1,600 worth asking price it.

so...what forum?
 

i decent price new one. few months ago finding 4 core version around 2000. go if want it. can upgrade super blade well..
