New Photos library, pictures started loading, but from where?


got fresh install of high sierra, , plan on rebuilding photos library. open photos first time , starts loading pictures. assumed somewhere icloud, can't trace that. went preferences , unchecked icloud/syncing stuff , stopped.

checked icloud.com in photos section , there no photos there. devices, i've turned off icloud options. can't phone since got , have no photos on there. it's not old phone i've wiped clean. photos on external ssd, did these photos start popping up?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
