Home screen lag


i started ios 11 clean install itunes, , ever sense then, swiping between home screens , moving icons on home screens it’s been laggy , hard use. moving icons between pages in folder impossible. because have ancient, old, dust, inferior, iphone 6s?
 

i have ancient iphone 6s 16 gb. have ran iterations of ios 11 (11.0, 11.0.1, 11.0.2 & 11.0.3) without slowness issues. have installed ios 11 using both ota , itunes restore installations. 6s on ios 11 fast , responsive - no slowness @ all.

why don't try clean install itunes (wipe phone clean itunes restore) , set phone new. after install, reboot phone. when phone comes on, wait 5 minutes or cpu settle. test , see if still experiencing same slowness issues clean ios.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
