New MacBook, old battery


i bought new 2017 macbook, , after installing , running coconut battery, learned battery manufactured in 2015 , has charge capacity of 96% of spec. however, has 3 charge cycles (all mine), not "used" battery.

considered appropriate, have new mac laptop have 2-year old battery in it?
 

coconut battery may reporting bad information. apple changes formula determining serial number (and computing manufacture date).

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
