iMac 2017 socket


is lga 1151 or lga 1151v2 ? 7700k seems last cpu on lga 1151, next coffeelake said on lga 1151v2. what's reason behind non-soldered cpu?
 

didn't realize skylake , kaby lake use same socket. interesting see try upgrade 27" late 2015 imac kaby lake, 2007 core 2 duo imac can upgraded newer architecture run macos sierra.

but, seeing have go way 2007 models cite example of being possible, isn't. if have maximum cpu take, have maximum cpu take.

doesn't mean apple should solder cpu (just imacs being bto 64 gb ram doesn't make time solder ram either), can upgraded 7700k later on, and, having socketed 7700k can still useful if cpu or logic board fails.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
