Dualbooting Linux on a School Macbook Air


my school bought macbook airs of it's students. prefer use linux on it, there macos specific programs use. problem account not administrator, , there firmware lock appeared after program called filewave installed updates computer. there anyway around these, or stuck using macos?
 

maybe consult school department help?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
