what difference between calibrating display mac os screen color calibrator vs. using 3rd party solution x-rite when working on photos, videos, etc.?

in simple terms, struggle obtain accurate colour when relying on software utility. hardware calibration i1display pro absolutely right way go, because can accurately read results display , create profile correct errors. unless display calibrated it's guessing game.

displays change on time age, hardware calibration keep display looking consistent if run through process once month on average. advantage display calibrated industry standards practiced photo labs etc, looking @ more or less same thing well. see on screen should obtain in print.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
