i'm casual user - , i'm lucky have computer in operational condition.

but, until now, kidding. not anymore - not after high sierra. have no clue they're smokin' - trust me, kids, not want any. bad stuff.

have no clue what's wrong high sierra. i'm not techie. , techies can explain did wrong. but, in case, seems there quite few agree did wrong trust apple , install piece of garbage in first place.

no, didn't tank late 2013 retina macbook pro. slowed way down , glitched , sputtered - terrible user experience.

hey - no problem! - can downgrade. should work, yeah? own stupidity installing apple's new public betas released "golden masters" or whatnot - right? i'm idiot - on me.

yep, yep. bad. okay, let's downgrade - in case, el capitan, because had no need siri on laptop. sorry, called sierra. bad again. anyway, el capitan me.

i'm not complete idiot? oh, am. performed time machine backup right before installing high sierra. so, i'll restore pristine copy - no worries. apple's got - followed instructions. i'm not complete moron?

yep, turns out am. apple allows 1 time machine backup, , trusty mac didn't burp out warnings or relate failures. nope - just...

failed. completely. little red exclamation points next directories. looked - apparently, trust time machine save us, but... no no no no no... tons of advice on how implement time machine - zip on when fails. it's practice suppose waste time doing time machine backups?

graaahhhhrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! oh, hate apple @ point... , bean counter tim , poor fumbling craig fedher-star trek alien. before - felt sorry them - them having live standard steve set, , failing horribly miserably - now...

okay - not stepping full on rant.

luckily me, i'd questioned apple enough use carbon copy cloner - reason able restore mac.

can't believe how horrible experience went through -

and, of course, no 1 should care idiotic problems mac.

- if planning on maybe installing high sierra on weekend - because hey, it's weekend - i'm not in position advise anyone, but... not it.

and, if cares read , might explain me why should ever use time machine ever again - please enlighten me? when needed work - failed on me.

no - won't trusting tim , craig unleash apfs (apple's piece of f** s**) file system on mac need access files. same goes new video , photo formats. nope - don't trust those... apple geniuses.

story. if choose venture forth high sierra - wish better luck.

i'm done trusting apple - far i'm concerned, they're forever out of jobs.
 

1. need more 1 backup, including @ least 1 bootable backup.

2. have high sierra running fine on 3 macs can take it. have running fine on 2 more macs don’t officially support it.
