iCloud Photos just deleted 4300 random photos


i switched icloud photos bit on month ago , uploaded/synced around 16000 items across devices. today noticed couldn't find few photos sure there week ago, low , behold 4300 random photos had been moved "recently deleted" section , scheduled permanent removal in 27 days.

means "deleted" 3 days ago, when wasn't in town/my desktop mac off , wasn't using photos on iphone (w ios11).

i'm lucky found them in time has got me worried re risking items in cloud.

has happened else?
 

your experience example of why not use "the cloud" "store" photos... :(

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
