iPhone Opaque file details, jpg extracted from Live Photo while attaching


i getting familiar new iphone se, , finding default photos live photos. following site describes how convert them still photos. haven't decided join cloud storage or sharing of files, , practice has been use webmail (gmail) rather syncing local mail client mail server account (in cloud). decided mail myself live photo, has been described container *.jpg , *.mov file. seems file attachment process google's webmail extracts *.jpg file attachment. test this, followed procedure create still photo version of live photo: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/tips/comments/duplicating-a-photo-in-the-ios-photos-app. both photos attached "img_0009.jpg", , both on 2mg, though not identical in size. i'm not aware of native way see actual file names 2 photographs, nor see file sizes prior attachment email. i'm quite unaccustomed opaqueness in file details, may. handicapping is, i'm not ready yet start installing apps see details.

wondering if more seasoned iphone owners can confirm there no native way @ file details, , attaching live photos emails results in extraction , attachment of *.jpg portion of live photo?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
