High Sierra (upgrade) fixed my Sierra wake-from-sleep lag


i don't know if you've had problem in past, on sierra had annoying wake-from-sleep lag on full 2017 imac core i5 ssd-based system. 7 seconds, of may think it's not big deal. may true overall nonetheless lag still seemed eternity ssd standards.

sierra system transfer previous 2010 imac. because had lag, tried re-installing sierra via recovery mode on existing sierra install (maintaining existing data), lag persisted.

however, i've upgraded high sierra (on apfs), lag has disappeared. it's couple of seconds, more reasonable.

wonder did it, strangely enough, other hevc/heif support, single-most important upgrade me high sierra. note did not clean install of high sierra. upgrade on existing sierra install.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
