28 GB SSD portion of Fusion drive vs MacOS High Sierra install.

hi guys,

, boot high sierra external t5 samsung ssd , run lightroom , filmora video editing app on separated (unmounted) internal ssd of fusion drive.

since 1tb fusion drive split hdd , ssd, possible install , boot macos high sierra tiny ssd (28gb) space? i’ll run (move) macos application external t5 ssd. (500gb)

doable ? pros , con?
reason asked internal ssd x2 x3 faster external t5 ssd boot macos high sierra it.

you can add 1 partition fusion drive. on internal 5400rpm drive. defused drive have 128gb ssd. it's big enough hold data in user's library. files stored on rotational drive.

have considered replacing tiny 28gb drive samsung ssd? owc has videos on how replace drives.
