Sign In To New Device Wothout Making it a Trusted Device


hello,

purchasing new ipod touch soon, want use solely music , few apps won't run on ios 11.

ideally want sign app store download purchased apps , updates few apps, not use icloud else. however, when sign app store on mothers mac mini maintence , updates becomes trusted device on account.

possible sign new device without making trusted device? or syncing apps , updates through itunes option?
 

can remove signed device trusted device list after updating apps? or impossible?
not bother 2fa did not know lot.
