Install 1TB SATA HD (from iMac'13) in iMac G4 (PPC)


hi!

after installing ssd hd in late 2013 imac i've got original 1tb sata hd in box waiting used anywhere. on other hand i'm trying give second life father's imac g4 2002 installing tiger it. , wondering if take advantage of 1tb hd , install @ father's g4. know won't able use whole space of it, i'm sure changing oldy 40gb original ide hd notice performance improvement -on top of space increasing...

point is, need install it? have read pci card provides me sata port. easy that? -install pci card , plug sata hd? or should configure pci card?

on level, how can allocate pci card inside g4? seems quite impossible me considering little space saw when opened change internal battery...

i know work in shop not pci sata cards bootable.

not know enough osx or not work personally.
need bootable pci card.

know there in-line adaptors convert ide sata or vice-versa not speed boost using these.

How much is my cMP worth?
